STATE ROUTE 260 AND US 180 FOR PAVEMENT PRESERVATION WORK

Drivers who use State Route 260 and US 180 should expect lane closures and possible delays this week while pavement-preservation work is underway.
ADOT advises drivers to plan for the following scheduled restrictions while crews apply a “fog seal” that will help extend the life of the pavement:
• East and westbound State Route 260 is narrowed to one lane from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today (9/26) and tomorrow (9/27). The work is scheduled to occur along a 9-mile stretch of roadway Clay Springs and Pinedale, west of Show Low (milepost 321-330)
• East and westbound US 180 will be narrowed to one lane from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, (9/28). Work is scheduled to occur along 6 miles of US 180, east of Holbrook to the Petrified Forest National Park turnoff.
Traffic on both roads will be narrowed to one lane of alternating travel while crews apply an oil-based surface sealant. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
ADOT reminds motorists to use caution around construction personnel and equipment, slow down and be prepared to merge into the open travel lane
